French luxury carmaker Bugatti has been slowly and carefully putting together Chirons at its Molsheim factory in France since the end of 2016. Now, they are celebrating an important production milestone. Bugatti announced that they 100th example — out of a total of 500 — of the hypercar was delivered to a wealthy customer from the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East.

“I find the 100th Chiron especially pleasing. It is dynamic and elegant in equal measure. This car shows that Bugatti produces highly individualized masterpieces of automobile craftsmanship that are simply unparalleled,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., according to Luxury Launches.

Bugatti currently makes 70 cars a year. The 100th Bugatti Chiron has been fully customized to the customer’s preferences. It is painted dark blue with a matte finish over its carbon fiber body, a first for a Chiron. The blue paint job is contrasted by the red finish on the sides and the brake calipers. The interior is also red. This car was sold for $3.34 million, which is $300,000 more than its base price.
