Sketchbook Doodles Create Surreal Optical Illusions

Artist Visothkakvei is drawing attention for 3D work.

Artist Visothkakvei has sketched out quite a niche for himself.

Filling his sketchbook pages with tiny, detailed linework, the illustrator produces compositions that have the illusion of three dimensions.

According to My Modern Met, Visothkakvei has begun to draw his signature designs in other mediums—digitally sketching on photographs.

His work is on display on Instagram, where he has drawn over 820,000 followers.
