Russell Simmons Steps Down From Companies After Allegations

Screenwriter Jenny Lumet claims he intimidated her into having sex.

Russell Simmons has released a statement announcing that he is stepping down from his companies after Jenny Lumet claimed the music mogul intimidated her into having sex in 1991. She is not the first person to accuse Simmons of sexual misconduct. Keri Claussen Khalighi accused him of assaulting her in 1991.
