A new trailer for season two of The Handmaid’s Tale dropped and it hints at revolution in Gilead.

In the trailer, you hear a haunting voiceover by June saying,”Wear the red dress.” She continues to spell out the list of commands given to handmaids in this repressive regime where fertile women are kept as sexual slaves. “Wear the wings. Shut your mouth. Be a good girl. Roll over and spread your legs. Yes, ma’am. May the Lord open.” The final beat, from the Season 2 premiere, has June abruptly cutting herself off to ask: “Seriously? What the actual f–?”

The second season goes beyond the ending of Margaret Atwood’s novel, following what becomes of a newly-pregnant June after last season’s cliffhanger ending. At the end of season one, June is escorted from the Waterford’s house and put into a van by the men known as the Eyes. It is unclear if they are friends or foes of June. Showrunner Bruce Miller has confirmed that the new season will introduce the much-discussed, much-dreaded colonies for the first time, reports Harper’s Baazar. The entire regular cast will return for season two, so get ready for the premiere on Hulu on April 25.
