As the spread of coronavirus continues to cancel everything, many people — particularly those who work in the service industry — have been impacted by the sudden lack of work. Kevin Love recently donated $100,000 to help out those who have been affected, and as Rolling Stone points out, artists like Lil Nas X and Megan Thee Stallion are also chipping in to help pay the bills of fans who are currently struggling.
“Hey guys, drop ur cashapp,” Lil Nas X tweeted on Thursday. “Gonna send some of u some money to go get some food then stay inside.”

Megan Thee Stallion also asked her fans to reply with their usernames on the app so she could send them money, writing, “Hey hotties since y’all have been going so hard supporting me I wanna support y’all and bless them pockets real quick!!! We’re abt to have a #SUGASPREE! Drop y’all’s cash app names.”

Writer Shea Serrano also reached out to fans with a similar offer on Twitter. “Fuck coronavirus,” he wrote. “Who has a bill coming up that they’re not sure they’re gonna be able to pay? Send me your bill and your venmo.” Within an hour, he hit the app’s limit for how much a user can send at one time.
