In honor of the upcoming royal wedding, Esquire decided to look at how much of a millionaire Prince Harry is. His net worth is estimated at $25 million, Wealth-X told Time. Other estimates have him valued at $40 million. Either way, that’s not a bad sum to be in charge of. Esquire reports that Prince Harry got access to the fortune left to him by his late mother, Princess Diana on his 30th birthday, which was estimated to be about $13 million.
Previously, the royal started receiving annual dividends from investments when he turned 25, valued at $450,000 a year. He also worked for 10 years in the Royal Air Force, for which he was paid a salary of at least $50,000 a year. He and Prince William, Harry’s big brother and best man, also inherited Princess Diana’s private jewels, though their value is not known. Neither of the princes have to pay out of pocket for anything, a private estate called the Duchy of Cornwall covers their daily expenses, like travel or fancy suits.
Prince Harry’s soon-to-be wife is actually bringing a good deal to the table. Meghan Markel is estimated to be worth $5 million. She made $50,000 per episode for her role on Suits, and has money from previous roles and endorsements. Esquire writes that when the couple’s finances are merged, they will together be worth at least $30 million.
That doesn’t compare to the Queen though, who is worth as much as $490 million.
