Do you love scary movies? Well the scariest movie of 2018 might already be upon us. A24, who distributed movies like The Witch and The Killing of a Sacred Deer, has just released its trailer for Hereditary. The movie recently terrified scores of people at the Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Ari Aster (it is his feature directorial debut), the movie revolves around a woman who is mourning the loss of her mother. Her stoner son (played by Alex Wolff) and her daughter (played by Milly Shapiro), are both affected as well. The daughter starts to cut the heads off dead birds and have visions of a mysterious, creepy woman. At one point in the trailer, Wolff’s character smashes his face onto a desk and then later appears copmletely covered in bugs.

Early reviews are glowing for both its depth and scare quotient. Check out the trailer below.
