Jeff Goldblum is constantly content, even when he is traveling all over the world. So GQ decided to check out what’s in the 65-year-old’s bag.

The Carry On

Goldblum likes his Rimowa luggage. He thinks its stylish but sturdy, and easily fits in the overhead compartment. Though it comes in many colors, he has the silver. He also says the four wheels changed his life. He always carries on his Apple charger because he likes to charge his phone during the flight if he can because he feels “quite anxious” if his battery gets too low.

The Outfit

Right now, Goldblum is partial to his Saint Laurent jacket. It is a “black leather safari jacket” that has lots of pockets with snaps. He never has to worry about things falling out, and it has plenty of room for all the things he has to carry: boarding pass, wallet, phone. He said that even when he rides in first class and they give you pajamas, he tends to keep on his Saint Laurent Chelsea boots and black Acne jeans (which have a little stretch in them). He does, however, put a blanket over himself and sometimes unbuckles his pants in order to sleep better on the flight, “if you must know.” As for around whatever house he’s in, he has a pair of Dries Van Noten shorts that have a green, leafy pattern. He said to GQ, “I try not to be such a fancy lad, but I guess I am a little bit of a fancy lad.”

In-flight Entertainment

He is currently reading Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson. It tells you about the Big Bang and what happened in the first couple of minutes and what we’re made of, as well as dark energy, the cosmos, and invisible light.

Extras

The star doesn’t like relying on things, but he does do a little lip balm on flights. He also likes a sleep mask and has one from Dream Essentials. He says it has a nice shape around his nose and it doesn’t cling to your eyes. It is “silky on the inside” and the outside is made of the same material as wetsuits. You can also adjust it according to your head size.
