Daniel Craig Is Pocketing $25 Million on the Next Bond Movie

This will be his fifth and final time playing the legendary character.

Daniel Craig will be taking home $25 million for his fifth and final time playing James Bond, according to a new salary roundup by Variety. This salary is more than any other actor listed for their recent projects. Though $25 million is a lot of money, it is way less than what was previously reported, $135 million. It is also less than what Craig made for his last Bond film, Spectre, which he took home $50 million for.

Craig famously said he would rather “slash his wrists” with a broken bottle than return to playing the legendary character. He later backtracked though, saying he “can’t wait” to go out on a “high note.”

The next movie, tentatively called Bond 25, is set to hit theaters November 8, 2019.
