Two French art experts recently confirmed the authenticity of a 400-year-old Caravaggio painting found in an attic in France two years ago. Produced near the turn of the 17th century, it’s a long-lost alternate version of Caravaggio’s Judith Beheading Holofernes (see above) and is reportedly valued at $178 million.
