One of Hollywood’s favorite blonde bombshells, Cameron Diaz, dropped a bombshell.

In an interview reuniting Diaz with her The Sweetest Thing costars Christina Applegate and Selma Blair for Entertainment Weekly, the 45-year-old actress casually revealed that she’s “literally doing nothing.”

The remarks came when the subject of a potential sequel to the film came up. When Applegate said she was “semi-retired” to raise her children, Diaz crushed her fans’s hopes. “I’m semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired,” she said in the interview.

Diaz’s last on-screen appearance was in 2014’s Annie.

If true, it would mark a break from a profession she has been involved with for half her life. She became a household name at the age of 22 starring opposite Jim Carey in the 1994 movie The Mask. Afterwards she became one of the biggest stars in Hollywood over the next 15 years, running up a resume that included Charlie’s Angels, Shrek, My Sister’s Keeper and There’s Something About Mary.
