Joey Skladany

Joey Skladany is a writer/editor, TV/radio personality, lifestyle expert, former entertainment publicist and author of Basic Bitchen. He is a monthly contributor for the Today show, rotating co-host on Taste of Taylor, and was most recently editor-at-large of CBS Interactive's Chowhound where he managed the site's food and travel editorial content.

Currently, he is owner and CEO of BRB Screaming LLC (formerly Beyond Basic LLC). His written work is frequently featured in major outlets such as People, Veranda, Southern Living, Conde Nast Traveler, Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure. In addition, he was host of Awesomeness TV's Dish This, Verizon Media's In the Know: Live Cooking and has appeared on Tamron Hall, Wendy Williams, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, HLN, NBC, CBS, SiriusXM and other networks and stations.

Prior to a career in writing, he was a publicist for TLC, serving as the PR lead for the network's highest-rated series like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, My Strange Addiction and My Crazy Obsession.

Joey is currently based in New York and Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys volleyball, worshipping Beyoncé, fine dining, writing depressing poetry, interior design and perfecting his stand-up comedy routine.
