The 43rd Commander-in-Chief is showcasing his artistic side once again.
President George W. Bush just debuted a new exhibition of his work at his Presidential Library in Dallas, Texas, USA Today reports. Since leaving the White House in 2009, the former president has discovered he has a passion for painting. In 2014, Bush showcased his portraits of world leaders in an exhibition at his library called “The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy.”
Bush’s latest series, called “Portraits of Courage,” features 66 oil paintings that depict American military veterans. The portraits (see below) are accompanied by corresponding tales of their heroic acts of service. A book featuring the art is being released with the same title in conjunction with the exhibition.
