When it comes to eating out, you’ll rarely go wrong if you have three things:

Good company. Delicious food. Gorgeous setting.

While there isn’t much we can do about your dining companions — that’s on you — we can at least help you achieve the latter. Because OpenTable just debuted a new list for the 100 most scenic restaurants in America.

What makes a scenic restaurant, exactly?

Views, of course. From dramatic city rooftops to mountainside dining, OpenTable’s users left no vista unturned. The list comes from the opinions of more than 5 million reviews.

In what should be no surprise to anyone, California earned nearly a quarter of the honors with 24 hot spots, while Washington pulled in 10, with the other winners split among 32 other states.

Here, our five favorites.

Seven Glaciers
Girdwood, AK

A tram ride takes intrepid diners 2,300 feet above sea level to this mountain-top perch where the dining room offers crystal-clear panoramic glacier and water views.

Old Oyster Factory
Hilton Head Island, SC

Hungry diners look out over Broad Creek from Hilton Head Island’s famed Old Oyster Factory, built on the site of an original oyster cannery. Outdoor seating and a private pier ensures unhampered views of the surrounding marshlands.

The Sun Dial
Atlanta, GA

They don’t make ’em like this anymore. High atop the the Westin Hotel in downtown Atlanta, lives one of the last remaining revolving restaurants in the country. ‘Nuff said.

Duke’s Malibu
Malibu, CA

At this Southern California beachfront spot, it’s all about the surf. Not only because it get its name from Hawaiian surfing pioneer Duke Kahanamoku, but because its the perfect spot to watch the break come in.

The Dining Room at Castle Hill Inn
Newport, RI

A  mainstay since 1875, the Castle Hill Inn overlooks Narragansett Bay at the western-most tip of Newport. When it comes to seaport dining, it doesn’t get better than this.
