They say the family that plays together, stays together.

But what about the family that wields knives together?

Find out at the Bear Grylls Survival Academy Family Course, taking signups now.

Run by the eponymous Grylls — UK special forces vet and erstwhile “Man vs. Wild” star — the BGSA is a series of land/sea survival courses that schools you on life-and-death scenarios.

Starting fires in the pouring rain. Building emergency shelters. Foraging. Hunting. And yes, knife skills, all in the wilds of England and Scotland.

The course, says Grylls, “may hurt a little.”

The traditional one-person course is five days: first you learn the skills from Grylls, then you spend 36 hours navigating an obstacle-filled wilderness arena and subsisting off the land.

The family course, meanwhile, is new this season — it’s a condensed, 24-hour version of the survival training, designed for parents and children ages 10-17.

Because why send little Timmy to soccer camp when he could become a flint-scraping, knife-wielding, fire-starting Rambo.
