Are you happy, healthy and secure? Gallup asked half a million adults around America about their well-being. The adults rated their life from one to 100 across five factors: daily life, physical health, location, finances and companionship. By doing this, Gallup was able to figure out what states and cities house the people with the highest and lowest well-being. Some states with the highest well-being include Hawaii, Alaska and some Northeast states. Thirteen out of 15 of the states with the lowest rankings are clumped together in a single band that stretches across the central and southern states from Michigan to Louisiana.
