First Look at Blue Edition, the World’s Most Expensive Motorcycle

One-of-a-kind mod of a Harley Davidson Softail features 360 diamonds and costs $1.79 million.

Swiss luxury watch and jewelry designer Bucherer has partnered with motorcycle maker Bünderbike to create the most expensive bike in the world. Valued at $1.79 million, the one-off bike is based on a Harley Davidson Softail Slim S. But Bünderbike has completely transformed the motorcycle into a hardtail chopper with a springer front end. The bike is a sumptuous blue, though it was first silver-plated before six color coats were added, using a secret application method, reports Luxury Launches.

The bike is embellished with 360 diamonds, and also has gold-plated screws integrated into the tank, which contains a one-of-a-kind Bucherer timepiece. The timepiece itself features elements of a motorcycle engine on its dial. The tank also has a large Dizzler diamond ring from the Bucherer Fine Jewelry collection, and a six-prong Heaven solitaire ring with a 5.40-carat diamond.

The special Harley-Davidson Blue Edition bike took a year to design. A team of eight people put more than 2,500 hours into completing the project.
