Anthony Scaramucci is making the rounds on TV this coming week, starting with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” and then going to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on CBS.
Colbert made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday evening.
On Monday 8/14 Anthony Scaramucci will be my guest on @colbertlateshow. This is just a heads up for our censors to get ready! #themooch

Scaramucci has not sat down with the press for a full interview since he was ousted from President Trump’s staff after only 10 days on the job, during which he gave an explosive interview to a New Yorker reporter. The “censors” comment in Colbert’s tweet refers to Scaramucci using a string of curse words and insulting many of his colleagues during that interview.
Dozens of journalists have been vying for the chance to interview “The Mooch.” After briefly speaking to some reporters after his was dismissed, Scaramucci vowed to “go dark” for a little while.
The sparks could fly next Monday, as Colbert is one of Trump’s fiercest critics on television, while Scaramucci had been an avid supporter of Trump long before his brief tenure in the White House .
