SF Beer Week. February’s most important annual tradition.

It’s your best opportunity to sample scarce potables and graze through the wares of the Bay’s most accomplished brewmasters.

It’s also your only opportunity to drink whiskey and double IPA on a private, open-top Muni streetcar as it rolls through the city, courtesy of the The Whiskey Train, tickets on sale today.

We’re talking the F-Line — Castro to Fisherman’s Wharf and back again — privatized by the boys at Pacific Brewing Laboratory and Seven Stills for a privileged handful of patrons.

And, we’re talking a preview of Pac Brew Lab’s first ever bottled beer — Whipnose IPA — crafted in partnership with Seven Stills of SF and subsequently distilled down to their first ever whiskey offering (Whipnose Whiskey, naturally).

Neither beverage will be on the market until this summer, but you’ll be sipping both as you cruise down Market, steel wheels thrumming in step to the banjo.

Yeah, they’re bringing along a banjo band.

Don’t dally. With just over forty seats on The Whiskey Train, the window for finding yours is narrow, and with two kegs of suds and a gallon of whiskey aboard, this is one opportunity you don’t want to miss.
