Back in December, we wrote about Morgan Motor Company’s last Aero 8. The historic British automaker’s death knell for their iconic model — which included plans for eight final editions they’re calling Aero GTs — surely left many a gearhead misty-eyed.

But dry those peepers, gents, because we’ve now got photos.

Morgan unveiled the culminating model at the 88th Geneva International Motor Show this month, and it does not disappoint.

The vintage-styled Aero GT stands out from its predecessors in updated aerodynamics, redesigned body panels, increased rear downforce and other race-inspired but road-legal enhancements, as is typical of the marque. Additionally, Morgan’s Special Projects division will be tackling these builds and customizing them for each customer.

But fans will recognize the 4.8-liter BMW N62 V8, a naturally aspirated engine that kicks out 367 ponies and 370 lb.-ft. of torque, which translates to a 0-62 MPH time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 170 MPH. As Road & Track points out, “BMW hasn't built [this engine] since 2010, and by now, even Morgan's supply of the powerplant has run low.” Which means the Aero GT and another Geneva debut — the Plus 8 50th Anniversary Edition — will be the company’s final use of the engine.

Now, the bad news. According to the most recent press release, all “eight vehicles have already been allocated through Morgan’s established Dealership network.”

But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Should you be interested in picking up one of these for around $168K, that way is by registering your interest with Morgan.
