Dome is where the heart is.
This particular one is three levels and owned by Los Angeles artist and activist Fritz Haeg.
He’s got a blog dedicated to the place, which he is now selling for $890,000 (the place; not the blog).
What can we say? The dome bubble is yet to pop.
Inside the 1,800-square-foot structure designed by architect William King: two bedrooms, one of which is hidden in a secret skylit chamber. The bathtub is a deep, old-fashioned clawfoot.
Some of the walls are cedar, and the redwood-framed kitchen is small but outfitted with a gourmet range. The place also comes with central heating, an interior vacuum system and uses greywater for the washer and dryer.
Outside, a shower and a soaking tub straight out of the Wild West. It, along with the 180-degree porches, offer unobstructed views of the San Gabriel Mountains. You won’t see a better sunset, trust.
