It’s not exactly surprising, but James Bond fans will be disappointed to hear that No Time to Die has officially been postponed again, moving from its planned November 20 release date to April 2, 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic.

As Deadline reports, the movie — which is expected to be Daniel Craig’s final film as 007 — stands to make $1 billion worldwide, so it makes sense that MGM would want to wait to release it until Easter Weekend of next year, when people will actually returning to movie theaters in large numbers.

“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year,” said the studio in a statement.

Meanwhile, the delay hasn’t prevented Billie Eilish from releasing a new music video for her theme song for the movie (also called “No Time to Die”). The singer released the video, which you can check out below, on Thursday.
