Earlier this month, Gary Busey was a featured guest at Monster-Mania Con, a horror-themed convention which took place in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Now, the actor is facing multiple charges relating to sexual offenses he allegedly committed while there. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Busey was charged with “two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment.”

Other than the specific charges, the article has few other details; a representative for Busey has not provided any comment on the matter. On social media, several users revisited a number of previous occasions in which Busey allegedly groped women — including one incident that took place on the set of Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.

Busey was also charged with spousal battery in 1999.

The actor has long had a reputation for erratic behavior, some of which has been ascribed to the aftereffects of a 1988 brain injury following a motorcycle crash where Busey was not wearing a helmet. (His addiction to cocaine in the 1990s surely didn’t help matters, either.) This week’s charges from Cherry Hill are, unfortunately, just the latest installment in a series of alarming incidents that span his career.
