Only a year after Playboy publicly ditched nude photo spreads, the magazine announced on Feb. 13 a 360-degree reversal. “I’ll be the first to admit that the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but nudity was never the problem because nudity isn’t a problem,” said Playboy’s chief creative officer Cooper Hefner in a statement on the Playboy.com.

The January/February 2016 edition of the magazine—featuring former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson—was the last to feature nudity. Playboy‘s first issue bringing it back will be its March/April 2017 issue.

Playboy‘s circulation has dipped from nearly six million in 1975 to about 800,000 at present. Hefner also noted that the magazine would be resurrecting features Party Jokes and The Playboy Philosophy that haven’t appeared in the magazine’s pages since the ’60s.
