Here’s the First Look of ‘Star Wars Land’ You’ve Been Waiting for, Nerds

See you as Mos Eisley

Right now, Disney is working to finish two Star Wars theme parks.

We know this because they released a video of a 50-foot-wide 3D model detailing what the parks — which will be located in California and Florida — will look like. In short: pretty great.

Called “immersive new worlds” by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek, the pair of parks will be based around two main attractions, one of which will allow guests to pilot the Millennium Falcon while the other will offer a “customized secret mission” that will put park visitors “in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.”

The video shows a location that seems full of plenty of establishments offering food, shopping and shows, a 14-acre site Disney says will provide a location for “Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.”

More details should be arriving in the next few days, but we’re already looking forward to 2019.
