The very little we know about The Beach Bum:

It stars Matthew McConaughey as a stoner named Moondog (“I write poetry”).

It’s directed by Harmony Korine, the indie auteur behind the love-it-or-hate-it Spring Breakers.

The bizarro cast is rounded out by Zac Efron, Snoop Dogg, Jonah Hill, Isla Fisher, Martin Lawrence and … Jimmy Buffett as himself

Is this good? Certainly worth a closer look, as this gonzo red band trailer confirms. The Beach Bum is out March 22, 2019.
