It’s manufactured by tiny home maker Atlas and inspired by a rainy afternoon at Glacier National Park.
Atlas is a mobile, towable, 196-square-foot cross between a tiny house and an RV. Where it definitively beats the RV is in the views department: instead of four metal sides, the Atlas — which makes use of a tube-steel frame — has a wall of windows and a fold-out porch.
For a mobile residence made for the outdoors, it’s appropriately conversation-minded, with a roof-based 640-watt solar panel system and rainwater collection system. There’s also a loft area with queen bed, a separate pull-out bed on the ground floor, a kitchen and an induction cooking system.
We’re not sure we’d want to live there — but for a long weekend away, it sounds pretty hard to beat.
