You probably know the Bulova Oceanographer by its more sinister nickname: the Devil Diver, a reference to the watch’s water-resistance rating of 666 feet. You also probably know the dive watch for being a standout in the category for its distinctive design and relative affordability.
Today, things just got way more affordable: A classic version of the Bulova Devil Diver in red and black is 52% off on Amazon, and the green and black and orange and blue models are also on sale under $400 down from $795.
Why are these highly coveted retro timepieces so heavily discounted? Our guess is it’s the effect of the sale happening at Bulova proper, where the company is offering 20% off sitewide (with some exclusions). If you have enough dive watches or aren’t a fan of the tonneau-esque case shape of the Oceanographer, there are plenty of watches to consider snapping up over there, including the Lunar Pilot (aka the other moonwatch) which is $150 off and the Surveyor (which is a quartz watch well worth your consideration) that’s $59 off.
