If you give a one-percenter a (very) high-end automobile, he’s probably gonna want a watch to match.
At least that’s what Bentley’s banking on with the release of their new Bentayga First Edition — just debuted in advance of the LA Auto Show — a car as over-the-top luxurious as you’d expect. Only 608 will be produced, the number a nod to the off-roader’s 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine and its resulting 600 horsepower (expressed in its metric equivalent, 608 ps).
No conversion necessary for its top speed: 187 miles per hour.
Also: “Union Jack badging, illuminated treadplates and 22″ black painted and polished wheels.”
Oh, and about that watch? Bentley is including a buyer’s choice of three Breitling watches, all valued between $10,000 and $21,000. In time, the offer will be extended to all Bentayga buyers, not just those who claimed one of the 608 First Editions.
