Simba Sleep Beach Chair at Blue Marlin resort in Ibiza

There are two main things that can make a sweet beach trip go the way of a lemon: burned skin and burned beer.

To ensure the skin of their guests stays cool and their beers remain cold, the Blue Marlin resort in Ibiza has partnered with Simba Sleep to create a lounge chair that’ll take care of both issues.

Equipped with a memory foam mattress packing 2,500 conical pocket springs, the Simba Beach-Hybrid chair features a facial misting system that sprays SPF as well as a skin-coating system that disperses a mixture of spring water, aloe, bamboo and rosewater.

Also, it’s got a pretty snazzy built-in drink cooler.

In addition to all of that, the innovative lounger has a motorized parasol, an integrated sensor that tracks UV exposure and issues alerts based on a user’s skin type, a solar-powered phone charger, wifi hotspot and an ambient LED system that emits a sleep-inducing hue at night.

Though it was built with premium materials sourced from France, Amsterdam, Belgium and Sweden and designed by teams in London and Helsinki, there’s no word on if or when the luxury beach seat will be available outside of the Mediterranean.
