Even a casual fan of Star Wars will recognize “May the fourth be with you” as a riff on a famous line from the sci-fi film series. Which explains why, for years, aficionados have recognized May 4 as the day to celebrate their favorite franchise set in a galaxy far, far away and such characters as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia. And that includes via PornHub, reports Mashable.

The adult site reports that Star Wars-centric searches increase exponentially “over the days preceding and following May 4 every year,” according to Mashable. Last year saw a 748 percent spike, down from a 1048 percent bump in 2017, but up from a 633 percent increase in 2016.

Princess Leia, who was held captive in a gold bikini by Jabba the Hutt, tops the Star Wars-related searches, according to Mashable. While the characters of Rey, Ahsoka Tano and Padme Amidala are also among the most popular searches, Kylo Ren lands at the number 20 spot. No surprise that men are 38 percent more apt to search for “Star Wars” than women.
