Watch: The Final Live Show by Tom Petty

Ending his legendary career with his most iconic song

To paraphrase one of his songs, Tom Petty made it better, baby.

The iconic American singer passed away of cardiac arrest on Monday at the age of 66. 

Other people will offer tributes over the next few days. Our suggestion? Check out his 2007 documentary. Listen to his SiriusXM channel. And scour YouTube for some live stuff, which is where Petty truly shone. 

Below, the last songs (“You Wreck Me,” “American Girl”) from his final live show at the Hollywood Bowl on September 25th.
