Vespas have shown a remarkable ability to change with the times since being introduced in 1946. The classic Italian mobile of nonchalance has been reincarnated over the years in a variety ways, but none more inimitable than the latest: the office chair.

A new model offering from Bel & Bel, the BV-14 Scooter Chair follows the work the Barcelona design firm has been doing for years: beautiful five-wheeled office steeds made from upcycled parts from broken-down ‘80s Vespas. The swivel chairs are backed by a re-used chassis, upholstered in imitation leather and a reinforced internal structure that makes reclining in ergonomic bliss molto facile.

Base model can be customized with a wide variety of extras including the option of working turn-signals. While there’s no price listed for the new limited-edition chair, Virgin Hotel has its own special edition model priced at $22K.

Check out a couple of the new colorways below, and visit Bel & Bel for more Vespa-related builds.
