Did Ben Harper and Huckberry Just Release the Best Jacket of Fall?

And can Harper convince you to become a Big Hat Guy?

Ben Harper Huckberry trucker jacket

This limited-edition corduroy trucker jacket is part of Ben Harper's collaboration with Huckberry.

Ben Harper, since he made his debut in the ‘90s, has been a Big Hat Guy. He’s always been confident enough to pull them off, but now, as a Grammy Award winner who has undoubtedly soundtracked a number of memorable moments in your life, he’s certainly earned his place among the pantheon of musicians who can pull off hats that would look goofy on anyone else.

In a new collaboration with Huckberry, he’s reached his final form: getting his own wide brim worthy of his name, worthy of heirloom status and worthy of a place on your noggin. But even if you don’t feel ready for your debut as a Big Hat Guy, the collection also includes a corduroy version of our perennial favorite Flint and Tinder trucker jacket, a layer that instantly notched a place on the best fall jackets of 2020.

Not a huge Ben Harper fan? Well, that’s not the point, is it? Sure, he’s got a new album out this month (the instrumental Winter Is For Lovers) coinciding with this collaboration, but this isn’t some grossly over-branded gear that you’ll see from other musician collabs. In true Huckberry form, it’s timeless, built to last and limited edition — so don’t miss your chance.
