Our friends at TUDOR are equally bullish on the current state of NYC life, having just opened their very first United States boutique right in the heart of our iconic Meatpacking District. Thus we decided to team up with them to provide you, dear reader, with a primer on New York’s latest and greatest, from shopping to museum exhibits to live events to new restaurants. TUDOR Boutique Meatpacking

Now that we’ve all got places to be and people to see again, a handsome timepiece is once more the cornerstone of your sartorial arsenal. Thus we were well-chuffed to learn of the new TUDOR boutique, opened in partnership with Tourneau in NYC’s famed Meatpacking District. The brand’s first ever brick-and-mortar outpost in the United States is a gorgeous space featuring a coffee bar and enough iconic wrist hardware to have you fielding compliments for the rest of your days — including, it bears noting, TUDOR’s new Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze ‘Boutique Edition,’ an eye-catching twist on one of the brand’s most beloved models featuring a bronze case housing an elegant brown dial as well as a solid bronze bracelet. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze isn’t available anywhere else in the country, so we highly suggest heading down to the boutique, having an espresso, and checking it out in person.

Covet House NYC

Covet House isn’t just a store; it’s Manhattan’s newest luxury interior design experience, with a curated selection of furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories from 12 of the best European luxury brands. Their most recent partnership, with interior designer Roberto Rincón, has manifested itself in the form of a brand new showroom called “The Millionaire Deluxe apartment,” which spans eight rooms and is officially open for tours, with the collection available to shop online.

Dining

Les Troix Chevaux

Chef Angie Mar’s highly anticipated fine-dining restaurant in Greenwich Village showcases the finest ingredients in simple yet elegant ways (think foie gras, sweetbreads, frog legs and a rack of lamb). Jackets are required, but don’t worry if you forgot yours: there’s a rack of vintage YSL numbers for loan in the back.

Le Pavillon

Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud opened the doors to his newest restaurant in One Vanderbilt earlier this summer.  A “culinary oasis in the heart of Midtown,” visitors will be impressed by the elevated Provençal cuisine and a Central Park-inspired dining room that features live trees growing out of the floor.

US Open

After a year behind closed doors, the “Greatest Return” to tennis will welcome fans at 100% capacity at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens, from August 30th through September 12th. Roger Federer and Serena Williams are both expected to star in what could be the swan-song major tournament for each.

Broadway

With Broadway officially reopening its doors this fall, can’t-miss shows like David Byrne’s beloved American Utopia and Girl From the North Country featuring the music of Bob Dylan are back in theaters. Pull out your best dinner jacket, book your favorite Midtown table and remind yourself what it feels like to have a proper night out on the town.

Automania at MoMA

MoMA’s newest exhibit, Automania, “brings together cars and car parts, architectural models, films, photographs, posters, paintings, and sculptures.” Gearheaded gents and ladies won’t want to miss the up-close experience of viewing nine of the most iconic cars in history in the museum’s sculpture garden.

KUSAMA Cosmic Nature at NY Botanical Garden

Renowned Japanese sculpture and installation artist Yayoi Kusama reveals her lifelong fascination with nature by presenting new and monumental immersive works throughout the NY Botanical Garden. This ticketed exhibit is a must-visit for fans of contemporary art, who can explore Kusama’s immersive installations en plein air until October 31.

Health & Wellness

Life Time

New York’s newest fitness destination might also be its most luxurious to date. The gym — if you can call it that — features an indoor lap pool, cedarwood sauna and ultra-luxe dressing rooms alongside 110 state-of-the-art machines, an Olympic-standard squat rack and custom personal training programs.

Vital Climbing Gym

Located just a few blocks from the heart of Williamsburg, this new 24-hour bouldering gym boasts 45,000 square feet of climbing walls (some of which protrude straight through the ceiling for an indoor/outdoor experience), aerial silks (yes, like Cirque du Soleil) and even a rooftop café.
