It’s a good day to buy some Apple gear. And we do mean “day” because flash sale site Woot is now hosting a single-day sale on iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods.
These items are refurbished, so you’ll want to check the fine print. For three styles of the Apple Watch Series 4, for example, that means “items are expected to have a moderate level of wear & tear including (but not limited to) scratches, dents, and dings. Outside of their physical appearance, they have been tested to be in full working condition.” It’ll also come with a 90-day limited warranty. This is the same disclaimer given to the various unlocked iPhones on sale.
Still, this refurbished Apple Watch is about $170-$190 (depending your choice of color and size) so you’re up to 50% off a new model.
Then there’s the Apple AirPods Pro. For this sale, the Pro is Grade A Refurbished, which means the items “have been inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm’s length & have successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality. Batteries are tested to function at minimum 85% capacity.” For that, you’ll save about $40 off of a new model.
Since Apple gear is notoriously hard to find on sale unless it’s used or refurbished, this is certainly a good time to land a discount (and even though these are previous-gen iPhones and Apple Watches, they’re probably good enough for your daily needs). And maybe we spoke too soon on Apple deals, as today there’s also an open-box MagSafe Duo Charger that’s 38% off on eBay and the AirPods Max headphones are at about the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on Amazon.
