By day, Kate is a writer, editor and photographer covering the intersection between spirits, business, culture and travel. By night, she’s a sommelier who has worked at some of the best restaurants in North America.
Wine is her first love, academia is her second. She holds an undergraduate degree in renaissance-era Italian architecture, another one in fashion branding and a Masters in Brand Management with a focus on wine marketing. She continues to toil away at her Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma.
