Caitlin White began her career as a music journalist in New York City. With early editorial assistant gigs at AOL Music and Complex, she later worked in entertainment and lifestyle journalism at MTV News. After running off-hours coverage at MTV, she started reporting on the indie rock scene in New York as a staff writer at Stereogum, and waded deeper into local music coverage as the music editor at Brooklyn Magazine.

Caitlin left New York in 2015 and moved to LA to helm and develop Uproxx’s music reporting as an Editorial Director. Striking off on her own to found and run the west coast-based and female-focused lifestyle publication Cinnamon Magazine from 2019-2022.

Caitlin is currently a full–time freelance writer and editor contributing to publications like InsideHook, Rolling Stone, Variety, Santa Barbara Magazine, Pasadena Magazine, Spin and many more.
