Amsterdam's 'The Edge' is hyper-green and -connected

The Edge, a building located in Amsterdam, is customized to its occupants’ preferences and work schedule. Designed by PLP architecture, The Edge communicates with a proprietary app built by Deloitte, the building’s primary tenant, to determine daily accommodations. The building doesn’t have any personal offices, so your workspace is determined by your schedule and, in turn, Deloitte’s app. Each lightbulb is wired into the building’s data centers, turning lights into information sensors that collect real-time data.
