It’s entirely possible that ’90s television staple Beverly Hills, 90210 was dreamed up inside the walls of “The Manor,” the largest private residence in Los Angeles. But this type of luxury doesn’t come cheap; the asking price is $200 million.

Sitting on five acres in L.A.’s ritzy Holmby Hills neighborhood—part of the so-called “Platinum Triangle,” which also includes Bel Air and Beverly Hills—it was originally the estate of Bing Crosby. Its current 14-bedroom, 27-bath format, designed in a French chateau–style, was then owned (and upgraded) by entertainment titan Aaron Spelling and his wife, Candy. With construction on the 56,500-square-foot residence beginning in 1988 (it’s larger than the White House, by the way) and the couple moving in in 1991, we can only guess that 90210, whose pilot episode debuted in 1990, was conceived by Spelling somewhere on its grounds. (Spelling is also known for hit series such as Charlie’s Angels and Dynasty.)

While we can only provide you with a short tour of its interiors, we do know that the property’s outdoor area includes tennis courts, a lush garden and koi pond, and giant backyard pool. Interior quirks include a home theater, with a screen that rises up from the floor and movie projectors hidden behind paintings; five kitchens and bars; a rooftop rose garden; parking for 100-plus cars; and grand staircases inspired by Gone With the Wind.
