August 2020 feels like 10 years ago in a lot of ways, but you probably still remember the outrage Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B stirred up with their sexually explicit single “WAP.” But now Megan Thee Stallion is back with a new song, “Thot Shit,” and a music video that takes aim at the old white men who claim to be scandalized by her.

The video, which sees Meg reviving her “Tina Snow” alter ego, opens with a senator closing the blinds in his office and watching her video for “Body.” “Stupid regressive whores should have their mouths washed out with holy water,” he types in the comments, patting himself on the back before unzipping his pants and getting ready to masturbate to the same video he claims is too sexual. He’s interrupted by a phone call from the rapper, who reminds him that the women he’s putting down play key roles in his life.

“They treat your diseases, they cook your meals, they haul your trash, they drive your ambulances, they guard you while you sleep,” she points out. “They control every part of your life. Do not fuck with them.”

From there, the senator is haunted by a group of scantily clad, twerking women wherever he goes — the grocery store, the office, a diner — before a hilariously NSFW twist ending that sends a powerful message about “WAP” and the way men were freaked out by women owning their sexuality.

“Some people just don’t know what to do when a woman is in control and taking ownership of her own body,” Megan Thee Stallion told GQ back in December. “I feel like for a long time men felt like they owned sex and now women are saying, ‘Hey, this is for me. I want pleasure. This is how I want it or don’t want it.’”
