Mark Hamill: ‘He’s Not My Luke Skywalker’

Actor Mark Hamill said in a recent interview that he “still hasn’t completely accepted” the way he was asked by Director Rian Johnson to portray Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

“It’s not my story anymore,” the 66-year-old actor said. “It’s somebody else’s story, and Rian needed me to be a certain way to make the ending effective.”

“He’s not my Luke Skywalker.”
