Locals on one Indonesian island are flocking to catch a glimpse of an enormous rotting carcass that’s washed up on their beach, the Evening Standard is reporting.
Initially misidentified as a boat by 37-year-old Asrul Tuanakota, the 50-foot creature was filmed turning the water around it red with blood.
Some have theorized that it’s a giant squid or more likely, a whale, but the decomposition reportedly makes it more difficult to identify without using lab tests.
