Assistant to the President Ivanka Trump reportedly told talk show host Dr. Oz that she dealt with “some level” of postpartum depression after the birth of each of her three children.

“It was very – it was a very challenging, emotional time for me because I felt like I was not living up to my potential as a parent or as an entrepreneur and an executive. And I had had such easy pregnancies, that in some way the juxtaposition hit me even harder,” CBS News reports.

But Vogue points out that the revelation comes at an interesting time, because the estimated 3 million American women who struggle with postpartum depression are among those at risk for losing their health care — as well mental health care used to treat postpartum — under the latest GOP health care proposal, the Graham-Cassidy bill.

While she didn’t address health care specifically, Trump asserted to Dr. Oz that, while she shares her views with the president, she isn’t the decision maker — and if she disagrees with him, she does it quietly.

“I have my views and I share them candidly,” Trump told Dr. Oz. “And as a daughter I have the latitude to do that. But I also respect the process that my father is now president. And the American people elected him based on his agenda. And my job isn’t to undermine that agenda.”
