NBA legend Charles Barkley visited Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ to talk about race, religion, and politics.

He also shared how he would’ve handled the racist taunts and peanuts thrown last week at Adam Jones during an Orioles game at Fenway Park in Boston.

Barkley’s take: Racism thrives in an environment where bystanders don’t condemn it. And by not standing up to the few fans who were vocally attacking Jones, the rest of the fans in the stadium essentially were accomplices.
