Playoff spots and coaching jobs are on the line in a packed schedule.

The NFL has declined to put any of Week 17’s games on prime time TV, and The Ringer’s Kevin Clark has written an ode to the overstuffed Sunday afternoon of football to come. Sunday offers theatrics of all kinds because so many of week’s games offer playoff implications or implications for the livelihood of a head coach. There are the Ravens, Titans, Chargers, and Bills fighting over two playoff spots in the AFC, while the Falcons and Seahawks each battle for the NFC’s sixth seed. Plus, Marvin Lewis will end his tenure with the Bengals Sunday, as several other coaches pray to make it to 2018 employed.
