The “bomb cyclone” hitting the East Coast today may keep everyone in New England at home except the Patriots. A new SB Nation article details Bill Belichick’s policy on inclement weather, which is to say Belichick will not tolerate lateness to his practices even during snow emergencies. Patriots special teams player Matthew Slater confirmed that Belichick has told the locker room several times that leaving travel time for terrible conditions is mandatory and lateness will entice consequences. Belichick has a track record, too: he once sent home star receiver Randy Moss because of weather-related tardiness.
