Amy Schumer took to Instagram over the weekend to voice her feelings over  Maroon 5’s decision to play next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

The pop rock band was a audible by the NFL after first choice Rihanna refused to play because of the league’s treatment of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“I think it would be cool if @maroon5 backed out of super bowl like @badgalriri did,” the Trainwreck actress shared. “I personally told my reps I wouldn’t do a Super Bowl commercial this year.”

Kaepernick alleges he’s been blackballed by owners over his political views on social justice. The former 49ers leader began taking a knee during the singing of the national anthem to protest police brutality against African Americans and is now suing the league for what he calls collusion against him.

The Adam Levin-fronted band has yet to publicly comment on its decision to play the show or react to Schumer’s call for them to step down.
