After we ran this piece last week about the best takeout meals to order over the holidays in New York City, we heard from a number of other great NYC eateries that have their own dedicated holiday options.

So, since we love the city’s restaurants and want as many of them as possible to stay open in the wake of indoor dining being banned and outdoor dining taking a big hit due to plunging temperatures, we’re sharing some more options to consider if you feel like letting someone else cook for you over the holidays.

Eat — and tip — well, friends.

Torch & Crown Brewing Company

As Manhattan’s only production brewery, Torch & Crown Brewing Company is (or was when it was possible) a great place to grab a pint. Featuring a restaurant from the team behind the now-closed Cannibal Beer & Butcher, Torch and Crown is offering a legit prime rib dinner for Christmas that includes a salami and cheese board, spiced nuts, chicken liver pate, a wedge salad roasted carrots, smoked potatoes and two pints of Morgenstern’s ice cream. Also, there’s booze: a bottle of New York red, a bottle of New York white, a bottle of Negroni, a bottle of Amaro and a pair of four-packs of Torch & Crown Beer. Available for pickup or delivery, Torch & Crown’s Christmas package is priced at $350 and should provide enough food and drink for four to six people. If ordering, give 48-hour notice.

Ed’s Lobster Bar

Normally to enjoy a Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, home cooks have to anchor themselves to the kitchen for hours in order to properly prepare the pescatarian offerings. This year, that doesn’t have to be the case, as Ed’s is offering a Feast of the Seven Fishes menu including items such as crab-stuffed mushrooms, mini lobster rolls, jumbo shrimp cocktail, clams, octopus salad and grilled fish for takeout. Priced at $115 per person, the feast can be ordered by emailing soho@lobsterbarnyc.com.
