French Chateau With Picasso Frescos on Its Walls Listed for $10.1 Million

By Matthew Reitman

This French Chateau literally has Picasso’s paintings on its walls. The Spanish artist spent time in the Uzes home during the early 60s, leaving his mark in the form of several frescos that have been preserved as “historic monuments of the French state.” Chateau de Castille, as it’s called, boasts eight bathrooms and seven bedrooms; with several dining rooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The house sits on a nearly five-acre plot, featuring a historic park, intricate gardens, and marble fountain. For the first time in almost 50 years, Chateau de Castille is on the market.
